Vaibhav Saria is Assistant Professor in the Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies at Simon Fraser University.  Saria earned an MA and PhD from the Anthropology Department at The Johns Hopkins University.  Their most recent publication is Hijras, Lovers, Brothers: Surviving Sex and Poverty in Rural India (2021).
